# Deactivate User

To stop user accounts from accessing Code Ocean, you can deactivate their accounts.

1. Navigate to the **Admin Panel**.
2. Click **User Management**.
3. Select **Deactivate user** from the dropdown list.

4\.   Click **Confirm.**
