# Generating a Reset Password Link

Administrators can generate a reset password link to share with users in case users forgot their password or wish to update it.

Currently, users cannot reset their own password and must go through the admin to reset it.

To generate a reset password link: 

1. Navigate to the **Admin Panel**.\

2. Click **User Management**.
3. Search for the user to reset the password for.
4. Select **Reset password link** from the **Actions** dropdown.

5\.  Copy the link and send it to the user.

6\.  Click **Done.**
