Deleting Released Capsules

Deleting a Released Capsule is not recommended! Pipelines that use the Released Capsule will no longer work. Also, the Lineage Graph for results generated using the Capsule will no longer link to the release. Deleting a Released Capsule will delete ALL VERSIONS of that capsule.

This is generally only for cases where a released Capsule is not yet in use. Otherwise, it is preferable to create a new release rather than deleting an old one.

1. Go to the Admin Settings and click on "Delete Release Capsule"

1. In the search bar, type the name of the Published Capsule you would like to delete

1. Select "View Capsule" to navigate to the Capsule.

1. Copy the Metadata id from the Capsule.

1. Navigate back to the Admin Settings tab in your browser and select "Delete Capsule". Copy the Metadata id into the dialog. If you wish to delete all downstream forks of the Capsule, select delete all forks.

1. Click delete.
