In order to be a Code Ocean administrator, you need to sign up to be an admin using an invitation link. This article shows how to set up the initial admin in the VPC deployment. Once logged in, you can send admin invites from the Admin Panel. Code Ocean VPC users with email addresses matching the admin invitation link can then sign up as an admin via two options:

1. Email/Password (built-in authentication)

After clicking on the admin invite link, you will come to this page. Fill out the fields and you will be an administrator.

2. Single Sign-On (SSO)

Code Ocean VPC uses Google OAuth2 or SAML for admin signups via SSO. The DevOps team needs to configure these options during deployment.
