Internal Releases

The Internal Releases dashboard displays release Capsules and Pipelines that have been shared with the entire organization. Navigate to this dashboard by clicking the Internal Releases icon on the left side bar from anywhere in Code Ocean.

A Capsule or Pipeline's metadata can be previewed by clicking anywhere on its card, or it can be opened directly by clicking the Open Capsule or Open Pipeline link:

A Capsule or Pipeline on the Internal Releases Dashboard will always open on the latest version.

Creating an Internal Release

A Capsule or Pipeline will appear on the Internal Releases Dashboard if it is accessible to everyone in the organization. If the original Capsule was not shared with everyone, the following steps show how the Release Capsule or Pipeline can be shared to make it available on the Internal Releases Dashboard:

  1. Click Save.

Now this release Capsule will be accessible to your entire organization through the Internal Releases Dashboard.

No-Code Apps

The Internal Releases dashboard can be filtered by No-Code Apps to display any Capsules that use RShiny or Streamlit and Capsules released as App Panel accessible only.

RShiny or Streamlit Cloud Workstations can be launched directly from the Internal Releases dashboard by clicking the "Open No-Code App" link of the corresponding Capsule:

Delete A Released Capsule

Deleting a released Capsule is not recommended! Pipelines which use the released Capsule will no longer work. Also, the Lineage Graph for results generated using the Capsule will no longer link to the release.

If you are an admin, please see the admin guide "Deleting Released Capsules" for more information.
