About Data Assets

Data assets make it easier to share and find data within your organization and improve the performance of Compute capsule computations.

When data assets are attached to a capsule, they are not copied back and forth between the capsule and each computation (either a Reproducible Run via the cloud workstation). This reduces the capsule's size and speeds up the computation.
