How can I upgrade built–in packages (e.g. pip)?

From the package management screen, select or add the package you want to change, click the current version shown, and replace it with the version you need.

You can enter “latest” if you simply want the latest version available.

Updating built-in package managers like pip is often useful for installing recently developed libraries.
