Admin Support Bundle

The new Support option in the Admin page provides access to the Support Bundle, which allows Admins to download a bundle of system logs files with the information required to troubleshoot various issues and share them with the Code Ocean Support team.

  1. Navigate to the Admin page

  2. Click Support

  3. Click Generate support bundle

  4. A zipped file is downloaded

Note: Generating the support bundle may take time. A notification and download link is provided once complete if you do not close or refresh the Code Ocean browser tab.

Archive Capsule/Datasets Improvements

The Archive feature has been included in both the My Capsules dashboard and the capsule menu on the IDE under Capsule, Archive.

Once archived the capsule can be located under the Archive tab and can be restored or deleted.

Archive a Capsule

To Archive a capsule from the My Capsules dashboard:

  1. Highlight the capsule by moving the cursor over it, at the end of the row the Archive icon appears.

Restore an Archived Capsule

  1. Highlight the capsule by moving the cursor over it, at the end of the row the Restore Capsule icon appears.

  2. Click Restore Capsule. The capsule is restored to My Capsules, click Back to My Capsules to return to the dashboard.

Dataset API Improvements

Improvements that have been made to the Code Ocean API include:

  • Archiving a dataset

  • Deleting a dataset

  • Searching a data asset by API

  • Updating data asset metadata
