Adding MathWork Credentials

When using MATLAB Web Desktop in a Cloud Workstation, first ensure that you have your user credentials configured. These credentials must be set up in your account to use MATLAB via Reproducible Run.

1. Click the Account icon at the bottom left of your Code Ocean page.
On the Credentials page, click in the top right "Add Credential" -> "MathWorks Credentials"
Enter your MATLAB username and password and click "Add Credential" to add your MathWorks Credentials to your account.

Using the MATLAB Cloud Workstation

The MATLAB Cloud Workstation can be entered by clicking on the MATLAB icon in the Cloud Workstation Panel

Once the Cloud Workstation has loaded, authenticate yourself by using the credentials from your MATLAB license in a pop-up message when you first open the MATLAB Cloud Workstation (this includes username and password)

The system will attempt to establish the connection and the status information.

Once connected, you will enter the MATLAB Web Desktop IDE. Here, you can use the control tab to control MATLAB sessions.

If using a Matlab 2022a and 2002b image, the license will remain unavailable for a few minutes (~15) after the Cloud Workstation is closed. To fix this, deploy a Matlab 2023 image.
